For more than 10 years, GBS Group focused its business on helping Latin Americans gain their immigration status by guiding them through the process of incorporating and opening a business of their own in the U.S. From there, GBS would provide support in all forms of business consulting — identifying the ideal retail space for new businesses; recruiting, hiring, and training staff; and navigating unfamiliar tax codes.
In 2013, however, GBS Group felt ready to spread its wings beyond the niche of international customers it had cultivated. GBS was ready to translate its vast experience into consulting services for local small businesses and start-ups.
The DAISHO team was brought in to help revamp the brand’s image and sharpen the message.
After our Brand Discovery, approximately twenty services were organized into four categories so they would be more easily understood by consumers. Marketing materials were updated with the new messaging, and we designed a new website showcasing interviews of the company’s principal, including segments from CNN en Español. The scope of work included creating a new logo, corporate brochure, small trifold brochure, and sales sheets — with each sales sheet targeted to individual buyer personas identified during the Brand Discovery.
After launching the rebrand, GBS Group reported to us that the new image helped them open doors that were previously unresponsive.
